Bringing out the best in each horse and rider.

Meet Becky

I have been horse-crazy for about as long as I can remember. After starting riding lessons at age 5, I soon grew to spending as many evenings, weekends, and summers at the barn as possible doing everything from cleaning stalls and feeding horses to riding the horses that no one wanted to ride. This is when I found my passion for transforming horses with issues such as uncomfortable gaits, behavior problems, or bad habits into the kind of horse anyone would want to ride.

A Scientific Approach

After years of being a working student, training horses on the side, and an attempt to make a career in corporate America, I decided to go back to school to earn my M.Ed. in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. Here I gained valuable training in exercise physiology, biomechanics, and was able to participate in sport research. Following the completion of my coursework, I worked closely with Dr. Sheila Schils, Ph.d. to further my equine specific biomechanics education. I now specialize in horses that have significant issues such as gait abnormalities, back and SI pain, kissing spines, or significant behavior issues under saddle. With my team, we have had an excellent track record of returning these horses to full work and competition, not just in dressage, but in barrel racing, eventing, and show jumping as well.
